This January at Maitland Gaol you can choose your own adventure from four fantastic family flicks. Movie buffs across Maitland and the Hunter are being invited to watch the stars under the stars at the iconic Maitland Gaol, when Maitland City Library presents Summer Night Flicks every Friday night in January! Themed Choose your own Adventure four family favourites will be screening for the special outdoor cinematic experience, each based on popular books.
Friday 6 January - The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe (PG)
Friday 13 January - The Spiderwick Chronicles (PG)
Friday 20 January - The Golden Compass (PG)
Friday 27 January - Jumanji (PG)
Films screen outdoors at the historic Gaol, gates open at 6.00pm and the movies will start at sunset (around 8.30 pm). In the instance of wet weather, the event will go ahead with films screened in the auditorium.
Tickets are $5.00 per person per movie or $20 per family per movie. Children under 5 are free. Season passes can be purchased for $20.00 per person, which allows entry to all movies.
There will be stalls selling food but people are welcome to bring a picnic, along with blankets to sit on.
