Morpeth Sourdough is traditional, authentic sourdough bread using the same recipes and techniques as our forefathers in colonial times. The recipe is simply flour, water and salt and uses the long fermentation method, about 28 hours to produce one loaf. There is no baker’s yeast, soy, dairy, egg or additives, in Morpeth Sourdough and every loaf is handmade.

Our Open Wednesday to Sunday 9.00am - 5.00pm. Historic Bakehouse Tours available Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday at 10.00am & 2.00pm by arrangement.
