History

The Luskintyre Bridge is of great historical significance. Built during 1902 – 03 the bridge was the largest road bridge of its time in the state of New South Wales. Of much aesthetic and structural interest the Luskintyre Bridge has been a very important item of infrastructure in the history if the Hunter District. Today you often see people enjoying many an adventure under the bridge, fishing, swimming and exploring.
