Visitor Information Centre
The Maitland Visitor Information Centre is centrally and
conveniently located off the New England Highway and is open 363 days a
year (closed Christmas Day & Good Friday). Offering a large range
of information on local attractions, events and localities, the Centre
also has information on the wider Hunter Valley and New South Wales.
The
Maitland Visitor Information Centre can make tour and accommodation
bookings and customers can access the internet, purchase tickets to
community events and local theatre, purchase a NSW Fishing License and
the gift shop boasts a diverse range of local products created by
specialist artisans, craftspeople and producers from throughout the
Hunter Region.
Maitland Visitor Information Centre facilities include: -

The Maitland Visitor Information Centre also organises major events during the year including the iconic Hunter Valley Steamfest, and the Bitter and Twisted International Boutique Beer Festival. These events attract steam and beer enthusiasts from far and wide and are held in April and November each year!
